2. What information should my timeline have?
The timeline should include all the essential events relating to the civilization or political state that you are working on. Each historical event should have:
The title of the historical event.
The exact date: as close as possible (it is not always possible to know the day and month for all the events, but it is possible to know the year).
An image for each historical event: the picture should identify the event in a clear way.
Information about each of the events. Try to include as much information as possible in a clear way. Don't copy-and-paste. Use the appropriate words to describe the historical event. Provide information on where the event took place, in what historical period, who was involved, what the consequences of this event were...
URL: include at least one link to a webpage which you found interesting and that references the event in question. It can be a page with further information, a presentation by someone, or a page wiht practice exercises, etc.
At least 4 videos per timeline (you can choose what dates or events for). Search the web to find videos related to your timeline and include them in the historical events that you have referenced. They can be film clips, funny videos, documentaries, etc.
3. How to organize the work?
The group coordinator will create the timeline and invite the rest of the members so they can edit it.
The group should decide how many historical events to include in the timeline and who will be responsible for each one.
You should be responsible for each one of the historical events but the work is about each one of you being able to perform individually or together. That said, the one responsible for a historical event can take over the creation of the reference on the timeline and complete all the information (title, date, video, picture, URL...), or the one responsible can create the historical event and receive help form the rest of the group in completing the information about this event.
